What Is the IDNX?

IDNX is the new benchmark for determining changes in the market value of domains, based on both their TLD and SLD. Using over 6 years of domain sales data from Sedo, IDNX clearly shows that trends in the domain market closely parallel those of other economic indicators such as the NASDAQ or the stock price of companies such as Google.

Why do we need the IDNX?

IDNX is about bringing transaprenty to the domain name industry. Prior to the institution of the IDNX, there has been no benchmark by which domain name investors could reliably determine financial data about the industry. As a result, domain investors would not have been able to accurately determine domain price trends, returns anf fundamental risks of their purchases.

Now with the help of IDNX, domain owners can track the value of their domain names, and compare the investments to NASDAQ.
